Lt. Col Md Faridul Alam, PPM, PSC, AC (Retd)

Lt Col Md Faridul Alam, PPM, psc, AC (Retd), is accomplished professional with a remarkable 27 year career in the Bangladesh Army. He was born and raised in a respected family from Jashore. He completed his schooling at Jhenidah Cadet College, securing 9th position in the combined merit list in SSC. He pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree from Chittagong University and a Master’s degree from the National University and MBA from AIUB.

After commissioning in 1989, he served in numerous key appointments, including commanding an Armoured Regiment and Commanding Officer in RAB where his gallantry earned him the prestigious PPM for his outstanding contribution to make pirate free Sundarban.
A graduate of the Defense Services Command and Staff College in Mirpur, He had undergone through specialized training courses in India, UK and USA. He participated in two UN peacekeeping missions in Kuwait and Ivory Coast.

After an eventful career, Lt Col Farid opted for voluntary retirement in 2016.
A well-traveled including USA, UK, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, India, Pakistan, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, UAE and Sri Lanka.
Presently, he is serving as the Director of Public Relations at Bhaiya Group of Industries, with his extensive experience to enhance the organization’s reputation and stakeholder engagement.
